About the Yoga Class

Bikram Yoga is a challenging 90 minute yoga class practiced in a heated room consisting of 26 postures (asanas) each performed twice in sequential order. The heat warms up your entire body and allows you to work safer and deeper into your muscles, tendons, and ligaments. This yoga practice works on the principles of maximum compression, extension, and relaxation in every pose to create optimal health.

Bikram Yoga is a process that can reduce or eliminate the symptoms of many aliments and is an excellent preventive activity for parts of the body that are healthy.

The class is designed for all levels -- beginners and experienced practitioners alike.

In time, you learn to focus your mind and control your breath, leading you to work harder, deeper, yet calmer. As you improve this relationship, you will realize the true meaning of yoga: A union of the body and mind. Bikram Yoga increases flexibility strength, and balance within the body.
